Classes

When you sign up for a class you're committing to all the classes in the session. Please make all efforts to attend each class. There are no make ups for missed classes. The workshop is open 10 minutes before your class begins. Please arrive on time and collect students promptly at the end of class.

 

Payment

Payment is due at time of registration and will hold your place in the class. Please pay through PayPal. Checks and cash are acceptable but must be received 72 hours before class begins. Returned check fee is $35.

 

Refunds and credit

Withdrawal made 4 days prior to the start of the class will result in a 75% credit towards another course that must be redeemed within the same calendar year. 

No credit will be issued for withdrawal made within 3 days of the class start date.

Payment for missed classes is nonrefundable. 

 

Class cancellations

If for any reason we need to change or drop a class and payment has already been submitted, students can choose to receive a full refund, apply it to another class or a credit can be held for the calendar year. If class is canceled due to inclement weather, notification will be sent out in an email. You're responsible to check for this. If the class is canceled a make-up session will be scheduled. We're not responsible if you can't attend the make up date.

 

Workshop space

Food or beverages are not allowed in the class except for bottled water. Please do not use your phone during the lessons to be respectful of others, if there's an emergency, feel free to step outside and use your phone. Please keep jackets, bags and personal belongings out of the sewing room and kept in the provided closet. Candace French Design is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.

 

Release of Liability and Emergency forms

A parent or legal guardian must fill out a signed release of liability and emergency form on the day of a child's first class. No child will be allowed to participate in classes prior to receipt of the completed and signed forms. 

 

Safety and Liability

Every effort will be made by the Candace French Design workshop to ensure the safety of your child while on our premises. The use of sewing machines, irons and other equipment is monitored at all times and proper safety procedures are taught without fail. However, we do not except liability for any injury or damages that you or your child may suffer related to the premises of Candace French Design or participation in activities sponsored by Candace French Design. Please contact us if you have questions regarding your child's skill level.

Candace French Design reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during classes, workshops and events for publicity materials and social media. Registration in classes gives Candace French Design permission to use those images without further consent or compensation.
