Teen Fashion Lab
Ages 13-18
Create your own custom fit fashion design. Learn to make a simple pattern and use it as the basis for a design to wear. Then create a fabric mock-up for style and fit. Cut and sew your final piece out of fabric you choose. Take home the pattern and your finished design to wear. We'll teach you sewing and pattern making skills. This class is for any teenager who wants to sew! Tools and sewing machines are supplied.
Fashion Design Essentials
16+
Learn to create this essential pattern and alter it to make a design for yourself. Follow steps to draft the pencil skirt pattern to your measurements. Continue making a fabric mock-up and check for fit. Then the fun begins! Create your design from the pattern. The sky's the limit! Cut and sew your final skirt out of fabric you bring. Walk away with couture patterns, for use time and again, plus a perfect fitting skirt designed by you. This class is for all levels. We’ll demonstrate the use of sewing machines. All supplies (except final skirt fabrics) are included.
Kids Fashion Design Camp
Ages 7-12
Dive into the world of fashion and create your own clothing. Work on fashion illustration and miniature mannequins. Discover pattern making and designing your own styles. Learn about fashion through fabrics, cutting and sewing designs. End with your final work in a display for family and friends. All levels welcome!
